Is there any sort of animal rescue service in Japan? I have found a sick stray cat and want to help them.

I’m currently sitting at the entrance to Himeji Castle park, next to this cute little black cat who has very infected eyes and is super unwell. It was sitting here since I came past and went into the castle, so over 2 hours, barely moving from its spot. Stray cats don’t really do that unless something is wrong. Is there a service that can be called to come and help it?

UPDATE: My partner and I were worried so we went and bought some cat food and fed it. I also found a shelter/box/nest thing tucked in some nearby hedges which said the cat was under care by an organization.

I also found a photo on Google of the same cat from 5 years ago, in the same spot. Seems like he lives there and has for a while! We decided not to take him to the vet – didn’t want to take him away from what he knows. Thanks everyone for the help.
