Is it better to bring mostly cash?
I have read that taking only cash is the way to go, don’t bother with a card, “tourists” have trouble withdrawing cash with cards.
Also heard of a few travellers struggling to buy bullet train tickets with their cards, and seemingly not knowing why, after many many efforts it just works.
