Maybe this isn’t a uniquely Tokyo thing but every winter I am constantly reminded about it. Parents in thick jackets having their babies in strollers or carriers/slings with their legs having our without socks. Naked feet that are turning purple because they’re cold. Is this a Tokyo thing? Is it a Japan thing? I am truly perplexed why you would let your kids suffer like this.
