Im looking for a prepaid phone, and I was wondering if rekmoba was too good to to be true. It seems I can get a used phone for around 20,000 and a rechargeable data plan for a few thousand yen (no contracts) And, It seems it’s possible to pay through a bank account, without a credit card.
Does anyone have experience, and if so would you please share the details?
Also, any other alternatives for PrePaid phones?
Thank you kindly!!

A quick read through website, it seems that all call will be 050 number, aka VoIP number. 050 isn’t considered a “real number” by many service in Japan if you happened to need a number.
Unless you absolutely need a prepaid, just get the monthly contract should be cheaper and better in most case. Nowadays cancellation fee isn’t a thing anymore.
