Hey guys so in the UK we have physical orientation next week where we will be handing in our Visas along with our passports. And im finding that small details are making anxious to the point where I’m not sure if they are legitimate issues or myself just worrying too much.
For example, in my previous email submitted version I did it by pen, however I am now unsure if it would be better to type it up (not including my written signature) to avoid any potential issues.
Also, if I were to type it (already made a typed draft), for the template visa application JET provided there are some years as 4 digits. Whereas on the real application for some parts it only allows me to type it in 2 (eg 11/11/2001 compared to 11/11/01). Once again this is probably me being paranoid as this shouldn’t really be a problem but the paranoid part of me is thinking if these are things I need to legitimately watch out for.
Also regarding the MySOS app (a less stressed out question haha) just checking if the JET email account is the only place we need to send the yellow screenshot homepage, or if we need to send it to any other places. I’ve already asked the JET email however they haven’t got back to me + they have stopped picking up their phone.
Any help would be really appreciated and in advance thank you to all you invisible life savers who have already helped me in the past with previous questions. Really means a lot as most of my family is foreign so not familiar too much with the form side.
Thanks everyone!

Unless it’s stated somewhere that the document must be typed or must be handwritten, you’re overthinking it. 🙂 Just fill it out according to their instructions and if there are any errors they will definitely let you know.
I don’t have any information about your second question, but I’m sure they’ll get back to you via e-mail soon.
Ask your coordinator. You’ll get consulate specific answers.
When you hand in the visa doc, the JET desk won’t let you submit it to Consular Services unless it is perfect. Don’t worry. Any issues will be sorted when you see the embassy. I’m a UK JET
No worries. Everyone wants you to get into the country, so they will be somewhat flexible and generally understanding.
I have done both a handwritten and digital one. They can choose which is best.
I’m pretty sure only the signature has to be handwritten! 🙂
