Basically the title. First time in japan. The travel japan subreddit says “bring enough cash for the whole trip” while simultaneously saying “you can do fine with just a credit card”. Im not really looking for “how much I should bring”, more so how dependent on cash / CC unfriendly is Osaka?
We’ll be going to the more tourist heavy spots like namba, dotonbori, etc but also he’s going to show much Around less tourist-frequented areas too. I plan on doing quite a bit of shopping for souveniers to bring back home, as well as treating him to food and drinks.
