Can’t argue with that, but PRs get to vote, right?
As a PR holder, I have zero issues with this.
No point having permanent resident that doesn’t pay tax anyways
Makes sense. If you want a piece of the pie you’re going to have to help cook it.
I know a few people who are probably sweating over this
Are mistakes in Kakutei shinkoku included ?
Coz sometimes tax can be difficult to calculate (RSU, ESPP…)
Seems fair to me
What is the percentage of delinquent PR holders?
I mean – are we solving a problem here or is this just the usual gaijin bashing as Kishida is super low in popularity?
I fail to understand why there is the normal penalty for the native and extra penalty for the gaijin.
Fine with me, in exchange for allowing dual citizenship.
Awesome
I’m fine with this. If you cannot pay the dues you should not be living here
Can they revoke tax free for visitors too?
I support this move, PR is not an entitlement.
If you can’t pay your taxes, as a tax payer now I don’t want to foot your bills
I don’t care who the IRS sends I’m not paying taxes
Good
