I left Japan unexpectedly and currently have no plan of going back soon. Problem is, I didn’t get a chance to cancel my LINEMO basic plan before I leave. And I cannot log into the web service as I can’t receieve the OTP (the other web service that I can log in through softbank with the generic password doesn’t work for some reason, even using the password provided by the company).
My question is, would there be any problem if I were to cancel the Rakuten credit card I’ve been using to pay off my LINEMO? I was hoping they will quietly cut off the service if the credit card comes up as discontinued. Will there be any hiccup in my plan?
