My family will be arriving early 4am in Tokyo. We are planning on starting our trip in aomori and working our way back over a 2 week period.
I have secured a rental vehicle while we explore Aomori and Hokkaido prefectures which we plan on taking about 6 days to do and then using trains to make our way back to Tokyo to spend the remainder at.
What are the best train pass options or tips to make the most of it and see some incredible areas?
P.S. I live in Aomori and am pretty familiar with hot spots, festivals, shrines etc. But not for the area Tokyo.
