See image in comments, there’s a vending machine at our Miyako hotel that is stumping us. I’m curious if anybody here has an explanation.
It is labeled “Hometown Gift” and offers between 3 and 150 tickets (for significant money) towards a Kyoto Hometown Tax. It also claims (on the explanation page) to return a gift more valuable than the ticket purchase price.
