I had my interview about 2 hours ago and honestly it was not as bad as I imagined it would be. It was more of a conversation, they were super engaged with my experience (I had already taught in Japan).
The Japanese language section was also not too bad. They started with easy questions and gradually increased the challenge as I answered each. I got 6 questions. The last one was hard to understand, just saying “wakarimasen”/”chotto muzukashii” will suffice. As long as you don’t freeze at the first hint of a different language.
I didn’t get a mock lesson but they did ask, “How would you introduce a lesson with “x” topic”. So you can keep that in mind. Good luck on your interviews for everyone still in the process.
