Looking to learn Chinese, anyone do this in Kyoto?

I am interested in learning Chinese while I am still here and while a couple thousand Japanese Kanji are pretty fresh in my brain. There are so many Chinese students in my classes and I would love to have basic conversation in Chinese over the course of a year or so.

Any recc???
