Recently the in-station Family Marts at the station I get on the train at as well as the one I get off at have completely closed, and I found out through some friends that within the same two weeks the same thing happened to the locations at the stations they commute through. This is all localized to the main line of the municipal subway in Kobe. I haven’t had the chance to check out anywhere else, but I did Google it and nothing came up. One of my coworkers said that she thinks Family Mart might shut down altogether but that can’t be true, can it? I feel like it would be be a huge deal.
Has anyone noticed this outside of Kobe?
