Yo whats up yall this will be my fourth time to japan but the past times I’ve been ive only gone with 1-2 other people but this time im going with 6/8! So definitely extremely different from my last trips. We’re going for 10 days and 4 of the other people going have gone once before. The reason I say 6/8 is bc im going with my fiancée (been before) and 4 other friends (1 has been before) and then my parents are tagging along as well but they’ve been before and are probably gonna do their own thing for most of the trip. I like to think that I know a lot of good stuff to do in Japan/Tokyo but going to such a solo centric city with so many people seems like it’s gonna be challenging and I just don’t want to limit anyone’s experience due to our group size. Super open to suggestions for restaurants and things to do in Tokyo! And here’s our itinerary:

Please do not visit animal cafés. The animals are poorly treated, live short lives, and generally are objects for pity, not play. They only stay open because Japan has weak animal welfare laws: in a place like, for example, England, the people who run the cafés might be in danger of imprisonment. The cat café is bad enough, but the capybara place is a travesty.
I would suggest skipping the ‘thrifting’ in Shimokitazawa: Koenji is a better spot for that these days.
The last several days, especially, seem overpacked, especially if you are going drinking/clubbing most nights.
I see Daikoku…you cannot go there unless you go by car….
