I’m a high school senior from America looking to work in Japan in the future. I’ve been studying Japanese for almost 3 years. I am currently applying to American universities, and I am planning on majoring in Economics and Japanese language. I also plan on studying abroad, probably in my junior year of college. Living in Japan permanently isn’t exactly a requirement, but I would like to use the Japanese language in my career because I love it.
How can I make this work? Should I do a masters after completing undergrad? Work for an American company and hope to work abroad eventually?
