4 weeks ago my friends and I went to japan for a 7-day trip. Japan was my first international travel and it was amazing.
I talked about it so much that my partner and I booked flights to go to Japan in April. It will just be the two of us and I am having a difficult time planning because last time I let my friends decide where to go as long as I get to spend a free day in Akihabara.
Our trip went like Nagoya – Osaka – Nara – Fuji – Tokyo – Nagoya. We only did 40% of itinerary because most of it was spent shopping.
This time it’s just two of us instead of 8 so the shopping episodes won’t take as long.
I am torn between dedicating 10 days solely around Tokyo and Kanto region or splitting it up like my friends and I did and going to the places I wasn’t able to go to the first time.
I check this sub occasionally and I’ve managed to get really good tips and places to visit.
Here is what I have so far:

I’d like some recommendations for tattoo friendly onsens or Ryokan that we can easily get to from Tokyo or Osaka.
I don’t mind covering my arm and back but I read that sometimes it’s not allowed even when covered.
Thank you so much.
