Hi! I’m travelling in January with my family to Japan, going to Tokyo, Nikko, Nagoya, Sapporo. It will be my second time visiting Japan (went Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto last time), and just thought I’d check my itinerary here; in case I’m being too ambitious w some days…

**Day 1**
11:25 Arrive Narita Airport
1:30 Arrive in Tokyo; find coin locker to drop suitcases (Airbnb so can’t leave bags there early)
1:30 – 2:30 Somewhere eat lunch
Harajuku area
4-5 miniPIG cafe.
3:30 – 6 Harajuku area check out
6-7 Eat dinner.
Take bags back to accomodation/check-in.
8-10 Shibuya Sky

**Day 2**
10-1 Akihabara
1-2 Lunch
3-6 Sumo match!!!
6-7 Get back to Shibuya
7-8 Check out Shopping (shops close 8 or 9pm), Centre Gai, Scramble.
8-9 Shibuya Incident JJK cafe.
**Day 3**
Tokyo Disneyland Day, 9am – 9pm hours
**Day 4**
8-9 Tsukiji Outer Market (breakfast)
10-12 Teamlab
12-1:30 Travel to Asakusa (by waterbus if possible)
2-5 Sensoji / Asakusa area
Kaminarimon
Nakamise Dori
Sensoji Temple + surroundings
5-6 Travel to Shibuya
6-9 Shibuya shopping time!!
9-11 Sushi Tokyo Ten Omakase!!!
**Day 5**
7-9:30 Early train to Nikko
10-11 Drop off bags at accomodation and get to Chuzenji Onsen bus stop
11-12 Check out Kegon Falls
12-1 Lake Chuzenji + lake sightseeing cruise
1-1:30 Ryuzu Waterfall
1:30-2 Bus to Yudaki Waterfall (30min)
2-2:30 See Yudaki Waterfall
2:30-3:30 Lake Yunoko walk
3:30-4:30 Yumoto Onsen Town, walk around
5-6 Private onsen if possible?
6-7:30 Get back to central Nikko and accom.
**Day 6**
7-8 Breakfast
8-9 Walk Kanmangafuchi Abyss
9:30-10 Kimono rental!!
10-11 Shinkyo Bridge
11-12 Shoyoen Garden + lunch
12-1 Rinnoji Temple
1-2 Toshogu Shrine
2-3 Futarasan Shrine
3-4 Tamozawa Imperial Villa
4-6 Back to Kimono rental store + accom. by bus.
6-7 Dinner.

10:30-3 train to Nagoya (2 changes)
3-4 Check in w bags at accom.
5pm leave from Nagoya station (40 min train then bus ride)
5:20-9 Nabana no Sato winter illumination!!
Must eats in Nagoya!:
tebasaki, misokatsu and hitsumabushi, kishimen

**Day 8**
7-8 Wake up, breakfast
9:30-11:30 Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology OR Tokugawa Art Museum + garden. Not sure which…
11:30-1 Travel to Nagoya Castle + eat lunch there
1-4 SCMAGLEV and Railway Park
4-6 Osu Shopping Street
6-7 Eat Dinner
**Day 9**
6am leave – 1hr to airport
Early flight to Sapporo
9-10:45 Flight
11-1 Travel to Sapporo accom.
1-2 Nijo Seafood Market lunch
2-4 Odori Park, Sapporo TV Tower, Former Hokkaido Government Office, and Sapporo Clock Tower
4-6 Sapporo Beer Museum
6-7 Ramen Yokocho at Susukino

**Day 10**
Day trip to Otaru!!
8-9 Get to Otaru by train
9-10 Sankaku Ichiba Market for Hokkaido-style breakfast.
10-11 Glass blowing/sand blasting workshop?
11-12 Walk around Otaru Canal
12-1 Eat sushi at Otaru Sushi Restaurant Street
1-2 Otaru City Museum
2-3 Sakaimachi Street, LeTAO dessert
3-4 Music Box Museum and other museums
4:30 Return back to Sapporo.
5-7 Mount Moiwa Observatory Deck/Ropeway

**Day 11**
Skiing Day!! at Sapporo Kokusai.
**Day 12**
Noboribetsu day trip!
8-10 Travel from Sapporo to Noboribetsu
10-11 Walk to Jigokudani
11-1 Walk to Oyunuma Pond and Oyunuma Foot Bath
1-2 Eat lunch at Gokuraku Shopping Street
2-4 Onsen at Takimotokan
4-6 Return back to Sapporo
Sapporo dinner/ Sapporo Factory check it out.
**Day 13**
8-9 Wake up and eat breakfast at market + drop bags off at Sapporo Station coin lockers
9-1 Historical Village of Hokkaido
1-2 Travel to Shiroi Koibito Park
2-4 Shiroi Koibito Park
4-5 Travel back to Sapporo Station, grab suitcases.
5-6 Travel to CTS Airport.
8-10pm Flight to Narita Airport.
Stay at capsule hotel.
**Day 14**
Not sure if there’s much shopping etc at Narita Airport but flight home at noon.
