Does anyone know the legalities / implications of doing what other US brands like YesStyle do where they sell licensed products “for sale in Japan only”?
I’ve tried googling and the only thing I can find is to just pay the tariffs on import and figure out if it’s worth importing.
How does one make genuine connections here with suppliers?
Is it legal to buy retail “made for Japan only” and import them to the US?
I’ve seen many stores who specialize in that throughout California and nyc but they told me they “have a guy in Japan “ that mails them stuff.
