I was wondering if anyone might have a recommendation for a US accountant for filing tax returns in the US? They don’t need to be a specialist on Japanese tax law, but would need to be able to advise on Japanese PFIC, foreign tax deductions, etc. I’m sure an accountant who specializes generally in expats is fine but I’m curious if any fellow Americans here have some personal advice since choosing a new accountant while living overseas can be daunting.
