My coworker is planning to visit Okinawa this week.
He’s hoping it’ll be fine.
Oh well.
I’m currently in Naha. I’m so glad I got travel insurance for this trip.
I’m in the Philippines rn, booked my trip well before I even knew a typhoon was coming (and when I left, it was only the one that just hit Taiwan). Should I be concerned about my apartment, specifically the plants on the balcony? They’re not in particularly precarious places, but I don’t want to be held liable for damages if one of them falls over somehow lol
I’m meant to be flying out to Taiwan for my first of four flights home … i have accepted that I might not be going anywhere
We’ve had one Typhoon, yes. But what about second Typhoon?

currently in Tokyo waiting for my flight to oki. they’re saying that all the flights to oki are booked until the 13th….ohh noo I’m stranded in Tokyo whatever shall I do.
Max libo is what I see
Was anybody here for Typhoon Jelawat? This typhoon is supposed to be stronger but not a direct hit. Good ol’ days 🥲
Hopefully it doesn’t last too long because I’m on standby until it goes away
The last two typhoons to come both affected flights for my family. Both flights were booked months in advance. Both flights were cancelled. Thanks Okinawa!
When is it supposed to completely pass by?
Last time I saw a typhoon like this was in 2017. Should be a big un
Someone asked if i had enough food and I told them id get more when it cycles back around
Was here on a work trip from California, in a hotel on the coast in Chatan. Are we safe to be in a high rise, or should we be looking to fuck off somewhere else as it passes?
🙏🏽
what app is that?
Powers still going for me, am going to bed rn however the power may cut for a while during my sleep cuz at first the winds were slow, now they picked up and same with the rain, I’d be surprised if the power is still going for me, I’ll update tomorrow, best of luck for everyone out there during this long typhoon
The one last year wasn’t as bad as this but I haven’t lost power yet
New to the island. Where is the best place to get storm coverage with English subtitles at least? I don’t know enough kanji yet.
