Would a Business Manager Visa be suitable for our small business ?

Hello !

First of all I have read many posts in this sub-reddit about this visa but I still have some questions regarding my particular case. Let me explain the details :

**-Our goal (along with my girlfriend) is to open a Chiropractic clinic in Japan**. I am 31 and she is 26.

\-We have a Master degree in Chiropractic but it comes from a private university (as it is with all chiropractic schools) so I don’t think it will count as an “official” degree.

**-We have been practicing together (in our own practice) in France for several years** (5 years for me, 3 for her (we are associates), so we have experience in business management.

\-After doing some research, we could do Chiropractic there as there is **no need for a license to practice this activity in Japan** (Chiropractic is un-regulated there).

\-We have been travelling 8 times to Japan since 2018 and **we both are fluent** (including in our specialty which is health). We started learning Japanese after our first travel in 2018 through AJATT/Refold method.

\-We are from France and are both fluents in French, English, Spanish and Japanese (even though the other languages probably don’t matter).

\-During these travels **we have been able to establish contact with several Japanese people**, which are interested in our services.

\-**We have more than 120.000€ in cash in the bank** (and no debt) so that would be plenty enough for the 5 Million Yen each investment requirement.

\-We intend to hire one Japanese national that would be employed as an assistant

\-We would need to rent a relatively big office space for the clinic (about 100 square meters).

\-We would prefer to be established in Tokyo but we are open to other places. Only problem is that my contacts are only in Tokyo.

**My questions are the following :**

\-> I have heard that the visa is for business MANAGERS and that managers are not supposed to work IN the business but ON the business. The problem is that we will both attend patients around 8 hrs per day. Is that a big problem or is it authorised under that visa ?

\-> What would be the best strategy to prove that our presence is required in Japan ? Of course we would like to move to Japan because we have had a great experience in Japan. But also Chiropractic is not very developed there and we would like to participate to it becoming a bigger think here. There is a Chiropractic school in Tokyo in which I would like to maybe one day actively participate in developing.

Thank you very much for your help.

**TL;DR : Can we move our Chiropractic Clinic in Japan through a Business Manager Visa ?**
