I live in Japan and I have a Japanese credit card and a US credit card. The US card autopays from my US dollar account, so I’ve started using it for big purchases because of the weak yen.
At the cash register, which is the more favorable option: “pay in yen” or “pay in USD”. I’m a bit confused about how the exchange rate works. Thanks!
