For anyone with an EPOS credit card (or any other first card), how many months did it take for you to see an automatic rise in your shopping credit line?
It’s my first CC in Japan, so of course my limit is very low at 100,000. I’ve been using it as much as I can with such a low limit, and paying in full on time. I’ve had it for five months, but I’m wondering when a good time would be to apply for another card—I’d like the BIC Camera Suica Visa Card. Should I wait until the EPOS credit line increases? Would that be a good sign of creditworthiness? I know how risk-averse CC companies are here, and I don’t want a rejection on my record.
