So, I am about to graduate language school in Tokyo. I want to buy gift pens to show my appreciation to a select few staff members for helping me out so much during my time, and the company that produces the pens allow for name-engraving…., but I was wondering if, from 日本人 perspective, if it would be considered rude to engrave a person’s full name (Family Name + Given Name).
Should I just engrave their Family names or their Full Names?
