As I stated in the title, I want to learn japanese to be able to read manga and as well as be able to understand other forms of Japanese media.
I want to ask what should I do and where should I get started. I know nothing when it comes to learning languages, english may not be my first language but it is something that I learned and used ever since I was young.
I also wanted to start learning Japanese since I’ve heard that learning a language has many benefits besides training our memory.

Theres a [starter guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/LearnJapanese/wiki/index/startersguide/) in this sub, this should be enough for starting out.
On bilingual manga you can read raw Manga as well as their English versions and even better a version where just have to tap a button to show the translation (sadly it’s only for easy mangas such as Yotsuba or Chi’s sweet home)
