Looking for a very particular Thai restaurant

So, maybe this is one for the long term residents. I apologise that it’s light on details.

In 2014 I ate at a Thai restaurant that served a mean spicy red curry, one of the best red currys I’d ever had. What I remember most about this restaurant is the decor. It looked like a real Thai street restaurant, very brightly lit with an old metal sign Pepsi or something, rough, bright, like I’d suddenly stepped into Bangkok or Chang Mai or somewhere and not anywhere in Japan, certainly not in Kyoto.

I can’t find photos of it online so maybe it closed or no longer looks like that anymore.

Any thoughts before I put that memory and dream to re-experiencing that spicy hotness to bed?

Thanks!

UPDATE: So, I feel I need to give this post a conclusion! I visited Pacuchi Marutamachi last night and had Thai Red Curry again. I felt the curry had an unusual amount of depth and this was probably what my original memory latched onto. It was not as spicy as I remember, I suspect this one was more attuned to Japanese sensibilities but it was still spicy enough to make my nose run a little. Overall I enjoyed the nostalgia and was very happy with my meal and I had already adjusted my expectations so I wasn’t expecting to relive my former memories or anything. Thanks everyone for their feedback!
