I’m switching jobs soon and my previous company asked me to return my health insurance card on my last day of work (I guess this is normal from what I could find online?)
Do I need to inform the places that have my health insurance information about this change and give them the new health insurance card once I eventually receive it? (e.g. dentist, clinics, etc).
I think it usually takes a few weeks to receive the new card, so what happens during this time where I don’t have a card?
What happens if I don’t tell them?
