I’m looking for a cheap digital camera to capture moments of my life in Japan. It should take good night time photos – capture Tokyo night life – with all the neon signs, take good portraits of people, etc. You know the typical Tokyo street night time photos.
Capturing nightitme video is not essential, but would be a nice bonus to have.
Similarly having zoom capabilities would be a nice bonus as well.
Anything around Â¥10,000 should be great. But I’m willing to go higher if required.
I have zero knowledge about the various camera models and options out there in the market. It’s okay if it is like a 10yr old model, as long as it gets the job done. I’m looking to buy it from either some store in Akihabara, Nakano, Shinjuku or online via Mercari or Yahoo Auctions.
