I’m planning on doing a Fun2Drive Ultimate tour on May 20th. I’m googling the trek I have to go on to get there that morning and there’s a big straight section where it doesn’t make any sense. Why is google maps doing this? I’d love to post a pic but its not letting me. Its making a totally straight line from Tomei-Yamakita to Tomei-Oyama I have screenshots. Please help

On Google Maps, change your travel mode from Transit to Driving.
We saw such a thing when planning a route to the Nagasaki airport from Nagasaki station. The fastest option was a limousine bus, but after a stop or two around Chinatown, it made a beeline for the airport.
This is Google Maps showing the *stops*, and just connecting the lines. What we did was talk to our hotel front desk to confirm this, and they said it was a good way to get to the airport, and told us where to buy the tickets across the street.
