I no longer have a hook-up in Yokosuka, and have hardly been out drinking in town recently, but I’d like to take my adult son out for some nostalgic drinks that might allow us to let our hair down with some American sports bar or dive-bar vibes, fried pickles optional. The Hub isn’t even an awful choice in this respect, except that it’s quite clearly The Hub. I’m sure there’s an obvious choice that I’m missing here, but let’s hash it out. For the record, Mar’s Bar in Kashiwa is a great fit for this – but that’s an hour from where I live and even further for him. We play nice; feel free to share something off the beaten path.
