Mother of a 16 year old here. I guess a little bit of context will help here. My husband is Japanese citizen but we used to live full time state side but he ended up getting laid off in 2020 during the pandemic, and came back to Japan. I followed him here with our child, and she is been going to a Japanese public school since. Since she is approaching higher education I am wondering if it is preferable for her to goto college in Japan or attempt to apply for one back in the US. Cost is not a concern because I have post 9/11 GI benefits so she wouldn’t have to pay
