I have chrons disease and ankylosing spondylitis. I was 2 years into remission and off of drugs before I came to Japan in April. Since then my symptoms have flaired back and with a vengeance. I will be here till October and I need to get on something fast. Do I have to have a referral before seeing a specialist like in America ? I originally didn’t want to get on biological till getting back to the states but I’m desperate at this point. Has anyone had any issues getting Humira in Japan? I have the national health insurance but I’m unsure how this all works.
