We’re going to be in the Yokosuka area for ten days starting February 25. Visiting our son, and my mom’s family in the city. We plan on local sight seeing, as well as visiting Kamakura at least twice. We’re very experienced hikers, and are taking trail runners. Our question is, do we need to take a pair of waterproof shoes? We both have low cut Oboz waterproof/breathable hiking shoes – do we need to take them? Or would we be better off just sticking to a couple of pairs of trail runners, and alternating them as needed?
Any advice is appreciated.
