Im a first year in college and was wondering whether I’d be better off sticking to my business degree and just studying computer science on my own (picking up certs etc) or should I switch to computer science.
Will my self-study and certs even be taken seriously? Would knowledge of business (accounting and finance) even make a difference to my employability in the tech industry?
Edit: btw as part of my business degree I study Japanese but I should be able to keep that module even if I switch majors and also in third year of the business course I spend 8 months working in Japan with the option to finish my degree there
