Hello,
I’ve started a job with a company as an independent contractor. I work from home and my contract duration is 6 months at a time.
When it comes time for visa renewal, my company said they’ll submit paperwork for my renewal application, but that I should apply as an independent contractor. However, I’ve read and heard that if you work from home and/or have a contract length of less than a year as an independent contractor, Immigration will deny your visa renewal.
Does anyone happen to know anything about this?
