I’m trying to convert my Washington state drivers license to a Japanese driver’s license, but I’m reading some conflicting information about the requirements.
Some people are saying that if you just have 3 months proof of driving experience of where the license was issued then it’s fine. While others are saying that you need 3 months proof of driving experience after the issue date of your most recent license.
I’ve been in Japan for 2 years and my license in America expired but I renewed while living in Japan. So am I able to get my license converted or am I just screwed. I have already filled out my JAF application but don’t want to waste the money if it’s gonna be useless at the end of the day.
