I live in Japan and I have a WISE account. For the first time I thought I should get a WISE card. I’m going to Guam soon. However, the first thing WISE asks is if you want a digital or a physical WISE card.
If you live in Japan and intend to travel to USA, Canada, etc. is the WISE digital or physical card the better option? I don’t use anything (yet) like Apple Pay, PayPay, etc. so this digital payment system is a little new for me. I pay for everything these days in cash or credit cards unless I’m moving money between Canadian and Japanese bank accounts and then I use WISE.
I should add that I still use an iPhone 8 (purchased in Japan direct from Apple) if that is a deciding factor. It doesn’t have eSim. However, I intend to buy a newer iPhone next year.
