Just wanted to hear some thoughts on my itinerary. I am not the type of person that stays many hours at some place so this may look like a bit… optimistic lol. Visiting Japan has been my dream for about 20 years already and I have made a lot of plans for it. Very anime, pokemon, nintendo-fan here. And I don’t really bother about walking up early and going to bed late – I will have time to rest later.

* Day 1: Tokyo – Arrival at night, check-in in hotel
* Day 2: Tokyo – Meiji and Shibuya – mostly try to minimize jet lag
* Day 3: Tokyo / Osaka – Pokemon Center Osaka, Umeda Sky (only the free part), Shinsaibashi, Pokemon café, Namba, Dotonbori
* Day 4: Osaka / Hiroshima / Osaka – Day trip to Hiroshima (Itsukushima Shrine/Torii), Peace Park and Museum, Pokemon Center, Hiroshima Castle, go back to Osaka
* Day 5: Osaka – Osaka castle, tenmangu, go to Himeji and visit the Himeji Castle, then go back to Osaka
* Day 6: Osaka – Universal Studios Japan, Super Nintendo World
* Day 7: Osaka / Kyoto – Visit Nara and then go directly to Kyoto (nishiki market, pokemon center and nintendo store)
* Day 8: Kyoto – Fushimi-Inari Taisha very soon, Kiyomizu-dera, Yasaka Shrine, Chion-in temple, Hanamiko-ji street
* Day 9: Kyoto – Bamboo forest, Tenryu-ji temple, Otagi Nenbutsu-ji, Golden Castle, Nijo castle, Kyoto tower
* Day 10: REST DAY – Kyoto imperial castle and then go to Kawaguchigo
* Day 11: REST DAY – Kawaguchigo stay – visit Chureito Pagoda
* Day 12: Tokyo – Go to Tokyo, visit Yanaka (Kayaba coffee, Old sake house, Enjuji, Nezu shrine, Yanaka cemitery, Yanaka Ginza)
* Day 13: Tokyo – Tokyo SkyTree, Kirby Café, Pokemon Center Sky Tree, Senso-ji shrine, walk by Akihabara
* Day 14: Tokyo – Small Worlds Tokyo Museum, Gundam Base Tokyo, Fuji Television, Tokyo Joupolis, Ginza
* Day 15: Tokyo – Ueno Zoo, Tokyo National Museum, Shinjuku (hopefully get some time to Artnia Café, the final fantasy collaboration one)
* Day 16: Tokyo – Free day to repeat things or just rest
* Day 17: Tokyo – Go back home 🙁
