Hello! I’m spending 4 nights in Osaka in October with some friends, and we’ve just booked a hotel in Shinmachi.
We had originally thought we would stay more amongst the action, like in Shinsaibashi or Namba, but I saw a few people recommending Shinmachi in a previous post, and thought it sounded like a good spot – a bit less hectic, but with easy enough access to the hotspots (I spent a semester studying in Osaka back in the day so I’m pretty across the main places).
Would love any recommendations for cool restaurants/bars in the area, for if we just want to stay close to the hotel some nights? Thank you in advance!
