Planning to move to Japan (for our son’s schooling) at around 8 years of age. (N2 will be obtained by this time so we can read his school journals and complete the enrollment)I have a BSN and she has a Civil engineering degree. However, my wife has a green card (in America). (hoping to be naturalized in the States before the move)Now my work experience is a mix between sales and medical through my military service. I am hoping to land a job in sales (the dream is medical sales). We both know N4-level Japanese and are furthering our education on this. The plan to arrive is that I go with the JET program and sponsor my wife and child, do this for about 1-2 years while looking for a job and situating in Japan. question:
1. What are the flaws that you notice in this, which will help me to iron them out now?
2. Are job opportunities available for me and my wife in these job fields
3. What extra qualifications should I bring to the table to give my family an easier time to make this move?
Thank you for any advice. visas should not be too much of an issue as we are familiar with how to obtain them.
