Need suggestions for Japan trip in June

Hi all,

Went to Japan for 8 days in 2023 for the first time and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. So much so that my SO and I have decided to make our honeymoon in June in Japan.

In 2023, our itinerary was **packed** because we typically travel like we’re on a mission to see everything possible in a new country.

2023 checklist;
\- **3 days in Tokyo** (Nation museum of emerging science and innovation, Ginza shopping, Kabukicho tower, Ueno Park, Tokyo National Museum, Senso-ji, Asakusa, Owl cafe, Akihabara, Tokyo Tower, Tsujihan Akasaka Ark Hills, Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, Meiji Jingu, Shibuya Crossing, Toyosu fish market, TeamLab Planets, Tokyo Imperial palace, East Gardens,
\- **1 day in Hakone** (Onsen overlooking Mt.Fuji, Hakone Shrine, Lake Ashi, Hakone Open Air Museum, Fuji park
\- **2.5 days in Osaka/Kyoto** (Kuromon Ichiba Market, Yukata rentals, Dotonbori-Nanba-Shinsekai area, Fushimi-Inari shrine, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, explore Gion, *saw a Geisha! (did not take photos as I read beforehand it was one of the big reasons Geishas always take taxi/uber now),* Nijo castle, Kinkaku-ji, Arashiyama monkey park, bamboo grove
\- **0.5 days in Nara** (Nara Deer Park, Kofukuji Temple, Isueien Garden, Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha)

Was a busy trip, but it was the time of my life.

For 2024, as it’s a honeymoon we are looking to slow down the pace a bit, and had these primarily on our checklist (**going for 14 days this time)**;
\- 1-2 days in Fukuoka + boat to Busan
\- Super Nintendo World
\- Studio Ghibli Museum
\- Stay at another onsen
\- More time in Osaka (it was our favorite prefecture)
\- More time in Tokyo
\- Is it difficult to get to Okinawa and is it a must see place?
\- Any other areas that you would recommend

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
