Hello people of Reddit. This is my very first post, but l’ve seen how helpful y’all have been with others in my same situation. I am getting married in May and we are going to Japan for our honeymoon for two-weeks. We have everything booked except for our rail pass. I was originally wanting to get either a 7-day or 14-day pass for us both but I recently saw that the prices have gone up by quite a bit. I would appreciate it if y’all would let me know if it would be worth it to get the pass or to just buy each individual ticket to each city.
Here is our itinerary (in order): Tokyo for 3 days, Hakone for one night, Kanazawa for one night, Kyoto for 3 days, Osaka for 2 days, Hiroshima for 1 night, and then we will leave the next morning and take the rail back to Tokyo to leave the same night back for the US.
Also, if you have any tips for Japan, please feel free to drop them!
