Does a contractor who recently obtained a SOFA job and drivers license have to change their car plate from “Kanji/ Japanese” plate to a “Y” plate?
Or is it optional to keep a Japanese car plate?
Also regardless, does the contractor have to register the car at the Vehicle Registration on Camp Foster? Or can contractor drive around on base with SOFA license and proper inspection/ insurance.
Wondering what the steps are after obtaining a SOFA LICENSE.
