Questions about working remotely for a Japanese freelancer

So I got a hypothetical scenario where I, while based in Singapore, accepted a part time assistant job from a freelancer (eg, manga artist) who’s based in Japan.

I will also have a freelance work in my home country in addition to the remote assistant job, and my plan is to keep my Japanese salary somewhere while I only spend my Singapore salary for necessities and also saving some of it to move to Japan for studies and work few years later.

So in this scenario, how should I handle my tax and finance of my Japanese salary?
Should I take advantage of investment accounts avalanche in my country like Syfe?
