Hello, my wife and I are planning to settle into Japan in the next few months (yes she is a native Japanese person and yes I will have the visa’s in place).

I took a year off work to travel the world with her but now we have decided to root back in Japan, I currently am interviewing with a few options with the ability to work in Japan however I am curious if anyone knows if nicer apartments (around 150,000-220,000 yen) would accept anyone without income? I have a few hundred K in USD savings to show and can / am willing to pay a year in advance if required also, does anyone have experience with this?
