I will be going to study aboard in Kyoto for 6 weeks in May and I thought it might be a good idea to open the flood gates of advice or warnings or recommendations as this is not only my first time in Japan but first time out of the USA. ps I other than the very basic fundamentals know nothing about the language so google translate will prob be up at all times for me.
