First time moving from temporary rental to long term rental

I landed japan with my work permit and rented an airbnb, finally got my first rental secured few days ago. The unit is a 30 minute train from where I live right now.

Since I only recently landed, I don’t have a lot of furniture – just 5 luggage cases plus my full size desktop, a large size trash can (airbnb had a very tiny one) and an air humidifier that I bought locally (did not expect how dry Japan is in the winter).

With this in mind, is it acceptable for me to call a taxi to transport my belongings over to my new place, or would it be consider rude?

I looked into Yamato for small moves (ヤマトホームコンビニエンス), but I don’t think i have enough stuff to take up even 1 of their specialized box, whereas usually a 10 minute taxi ride would be around 5000 yen. I’d probably need two trips, but it would still be cheaper than the 30,000+ yen.

Any advice appreciated!
