Hello! I need to move a small amount of boxes + instruments + my bike (currently in a bike bag) from my friend’s place in Kichijoji to my sharehouse in Ogikubo. It’s just a bit too much stuff to carry all in one go, or on my back—a couple of mid sized boxes (2x probably about 80cm*80cm*40cm), a few instruments, a small amp, plus my bike. I wish I could just stack everything on my bike and ride away but I don’t think I can safely secure it with the small rack at the back.
Does anyone have recommendations? I don’t have a Japanese driver’s license, so I can’t use a car share (I was thinking to use a car share whenever I move on from my sharehouse to a more permanent location, but that’s another matter. I’ll have a lot more to transport at that time).
Maybe I can rent a cargo bike, and come back later just to pick up my own bike?
Maybe I can call a taxi and load up everything (and again, pick up my bike later)?
