Moving to Japan while keeping my business in Canada

Hello. :)I hope this is a good place to ask these kind of questions. If anyone knows a better reddit place or ressources to look into please let me know.I currently live in Canada with my Japanese wife. We both work from home with international clients and in order to gather our ressources we incorporated a little business here, just for the two of us. We are planing to move to Japan to live there in few months (and stay for an undefined period of time), after I managed to have enough day to apply for Canadian citizenship (I’m not Canadian, but it would be nice to have this back if we want to come back one day)

We are wondering what would be the best way to handle taxs and finance in Japan and avoid paying unnecessary things. I probably should maintain my retirement and savings account.Do you think it’s possible, and if there are benefits, on keeping our company in Canada and declare all of our revenues there, keeping Canadian bank account open and most of our finances abroad. I’m also an owner of a place in Montreal and I think I heard I can be taxed for that in Japan. Does it affect anything?

We are thinking maybe it could be nice to open a second business in Japan for our Japanese clients and yens. Perhaps it can help with visa extention or other benefits?

Thank you for your guidance 🙂
