Can I get arrested or forced to pay for damages for being a paramour in a marriage?

Throw away account here.

I am in a relationship with this woman and we’ve been together for more than a year already. She is still married and due to some hiccups cannot be divorced yet (PR, waiting on Naturalization. Home country does not allow for divorce). Her marriage was already broken and they separated from each other 2021, this woman and I started a relationship in 2023. This woman and I have been living together and all of a sudden this year the husband is back in the picture. He is now threatening something legal. I understand that you can be made to pay damages if I was the reason why their marriage broke, but the marriage was already broken before we started a relationship. Just want to know your thoughts and opinions about this.

EDIT: wow thank you for your thoughts and opinions, I think I should mention. Woman is the PR and the husband is not Japanese and is sponsored by her. For now I’ll be ending it and moving someplace else, I’m tired of this. The reason why their marriage broke in the first place was because the man was involved in some sort of investment scams/estafa of at least 2000万, he scammed multiple people including her family. That’s the reason why they separated in the first place. I’ll speak to a lawyer just in case.
